Selling Tampa star Sharelle Rosado and Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson has been referring to each other as “fiancé” for a while, but now it’s official!
The former NFL star proposed with a 7.5-carat sparkler at Bar One in Miami on Saturday. The couple’s family and friends were in attendance to witness the special moment.
“I’m honestly shocked! I’m at a loss for words,” Rosado told People. “This was absolutely beautiful, and to see my family and friends here to celebrate our love, that really did it for me.”

Rosado told the outlet that she was taken completely by surprise but that it was “more special” than she ever could have hoped. Adding that Johnson is “not a planner,” so the fact that he was able to pull the engagement off was “so amazing.”
Rosado shared a video of the proposal to her Instagram on Sunday that shows her being overcome with emotion as Johnson got on one knee and opened the ring box to reveal the ring. She briefly covered her face with her hands before pulling Johnson into a hug.
Johnson responded to the post, writing, “You said if we get married you’d give me a Cheeseburger to go with my French Fry & hunny you gone have to stand on that.” French Fry is the nickname for their daughter, Serenity, who they welcomed in Jan. 2022.
The founder and CEO of Allure Realty told the outlet she already has some ideas for their wedding. As for location, they are leaning toward the Bahamas, which holds a special place for the couple.
