Shedeur Sanders fell victim to a horrible prank as he awaited his draft news.

The quarterback prospect was prank-called by someone pretending to be an NFL team representative while he was live on Twitch. A clip captured the chaos as his brother, Shilo, was talking to the camera when family members began shouting, believing a team was calling. Sanders smiled brightly, grabbed the phone, and said, “I’m good, been waiting on you.” Family and friends, along with the camera, crowded around him, thinking this was finally his moment.
However, the mood shifted when the caller said Sanders would “have to wait a little longer.” Confused, Sanders asked, “What does that mean?” He then added, “I don’t know what that was. Nobody got this number, though.” Confusion quickly spread among the group, and Sanders’ Twitch stream abruptly ended, with no recording saved.
Despite the disappointment, Sanders remained upbeat. He later appeared on Shilo’s Twitch stream, telling viewers, “We got time still. Whenever I get picked, we gonna turn it up.”
Five quarterbacks had already been drafted, including Cam Ward, Jaxson Dart, Tyler Shough, Jalen Milroe, and Dillon Gabriel, leaving Sanders surprisingly still on the board heading into Day 3.
