Shedeur Sanders is officially hanging up his microphone for good as he enters his new professional sports career.

Shedeur revealed his decision to step away from music after being picked up by the Cleveland Browns. When asked by brother Shilo if he planned to perform again, Shedeur simply stated, “I just want to ball, bro. I just want to ball.”
This shift in focus comes after a surprising slip in the Draft. Despite being projected as a first-round pick, Shedeur fell to the fifth round, where he was selected by the Browns with the 144th overall pick. Despite the setback, Shedeur remained upbeat, celebrating on his livestream and tweeting, “Thank you GOD.”

Earlier this year, Shedeur had approached college quarterback Cam Ward about collaborating on a track, but Ward declined, saying, “I play football.” Ironically, Ward was selected first overall by the Tennessee Titans.
Shedeur’s rap career began in 2024 with his debut song, “Perfect Timing,” but it’s clear that his passion now lies with football. Shilo will also be playing on the professional level, having signed an undrafted free agent deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
