Hip-Hop is mourning the loss of another respected legend, Shock G of Digital Underground.
On April 9th, we lost DMX, and eight days later, we lost Black Rob on April 17th.
Chopmaster J, the co-founder of Digital Underground, took to his Instagram to confirm the rapper’s death.
“34 years ago almost to the day we had a wild idea we can be a hip hop band and take on the world through it all the dream became a reality and the reality became a nightmare for some. And now he’s awaken from the fame long live shock G Aka Humpty Hump and Rest In Peace my Brotha Greg Jacobs!!! #digitalunderground 😔”
Digital Underground brought us a lot of greatness and talent from Tupac Shakur, Dave Hollister, Force One Network, and Big Brutha Soul.
Shock G’s cause of death has not been revealed. The Baller Alert family sends their condolences to family and friends during this time.
