Shooter Still At Large After Killing 1, Injuring 10 in Memphis

A search is underway in Memphis for a suspect accused of fatally shooting one and injuring ten others.

Memphis Police Department says there were two shootings that they believe are connected. Officers responded to the first location, Live Lounge, around 12:43 a.m. Sunday, where they found two shooting victims. Both were taken to a hospital in critical condition, police said.

Five other shooting victims were taken to area hospitals by private vehicle in non-critical condition.

While at that scene, officers were informed of more shooting victims at a nearby location. Police found a deceased male victim and three more victims who were taken to a hospital in critical condition, WTVR News reported.

“There is no “solid description of the suspect(s)” Memphis police tweeted.

Police are working on learning the motive of the shooting and if the shooter or shooters knew the victims.
