Christopher Kwan Freeman, 22, handed himself in to the Huntsville Police Department Sunday morning.

The shooting occurred approximately 4:30 p.m. Saturday on the 200-block of Binford Drive, said Captain Michael Johnson.

According to TMZ, the incident happened as Lil Boosie was recording a music video.

When the first police arrived, Captain Johnson confirmed that a huge gathering was taking place on Huntsville Housing Authority land and that roughly 50-100 people were departing the area, but neither HPD nor HHA was aware of the massive gathering.

Freeman was placed into Madison County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
