Last week, TMZ broke the story that rapper Too Short had been sued for allegedly sexually assaulting one of his potential female artists on “multiple occasions.”
The plaintiff, Teana Louis, filed a lawsuit against Short, making claims that she was attacked by the 51-year-old numerous times in 2016.
Louis stated that Short “forced oral sex, vaginal sex, and sodomy” on her. And, as a result, she’s suing for sexual battery, sexual harassment, gender violence, gender discrimination, and false imprisonment.
However, TMZ recently caught up with Short, and he has since denied these claims.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“This is just blatant, outright extortion. I’m being extorted. It’s not a criminal case; it’s something that stems from over a year ago,” he says. “It could only be extortion; it’s not anything else. They want money.”

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Short is looking to countersue for slander. He is also looking to get a restraining order against Louis.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
He believes that the young woman is still angered about a signing deal that fell through, which is her reason for pinning the allegations against him. According to Short, he was intending on signing her, but everything didn’t go as planned.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But, when asked if he and the accuser had ever been “consensually involved,” he admits to nothing more than foreplay.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“We did not ever have sex. She was not raped. The most we ever did was foreplay,” he tells TMZ. “Consent is starting to be a very fine line, and there’s nothing that I would ever do that’s not consensual.”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This, however, isn’t the first time that Short has been accused of sexual assault. Last January, another one of his artists came forth and alleged that she’d been assaulted, too.
