Showtime is renewing Lena Waithe’s hit series ‘The Chi‘ for season 5. The company announced the news after the show’s Sunday night finale.
Season 5 will kick off next year.
The Chi is a coming-of-age tale about South Side Chicago residents that make unusual connections that lead them to a path of redemption.
According to Showtime, 4.2 million viewers tune in weekly to watch the show.
