According to TMZ, the rapper was arrested after he pulled a gun on his girlfriend and threatened to harm her.
The rapper was booked on a felony charge of making criminal threats and later released on a $50,000 bond.
After news of the arrest broke, Shy took to his Instagram story, saying, “The accusations made against me are completely false. I would never in my life pull a weapon out or
harm a female in any way so stop with all the BS allegations! What is wrong with ppl [sic]?”
TMZ reports that the alleged victim filed a restraining order against the rapper.
Since the beginning of the year, Glizzy has found himself entangled in a series of difficulties. In January, OnlyFans model Sky Bri, accused the rapper of sexual misconduct.
Bri claims Glizzy displayed inappropriate behavior with her while on set for his 2014 “White Girl” music video. Bri says she met Glizzy during a past photoshoot. She alleged that Glizzy contacted her after his song “White Girl” gained popularity on TikTok and asked her to star in the video.
Shortly after Bri made her revelation, Glizzy attempted to clear his name on Akademiks’ “Off The Record” podcast.
“It’s not true. I don’t even know where a n*gga like that,” He said. “I’ve been in this sh*t too long. You ain’t never heard no sh*t like that about me. I’m a player.”
