As I jam to throwbacks, Beyoncé “Signs” comes on, and per usual I’m belting every single word: “Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, cancer ohhhh…”.  I then really begin to think about the extremely intriguing world of astrological beliefs: astrological relationship compatibility to be exact. I know some people who truly believe in astrological science, and I know some who think it’s a big hoax, but both agree that it is interesting nonetheless. So whether you believe it, or you just want an interesting read, I’ve decided to write about each astrological signs compatibility. Since it’s Scorpio season, I’ll start with Scorpios compatibility break down:

According to Ann Roberts, a certified Client-Centered astrologer, Scorpios (Oct. 24^th– Nov. 22^nd), are adaptive, emotionally driven, and highly intuitive. They match ideally with their other water sign counterparts, but can be compatible with earth signs, they don’t really understand air signs, and clash completely with fire signs. Here are what Robert’s says are the best, and worst signs for Scorpio love:

Best Compatibility Signs (Water  and Earth Signs)

– Cancer  – Elemental matches. Cancer’s intuition and nurturing character will ease Scorpio’s internal woes.

– Scorpio– Elemental match. This relationship will only suffer from the partners’ similarities, not differences.

– Pisces – Elemental match. Both feed off of intense emotions and romanticism. Pisces feels protected by Scorpio’s dominant and controlling nature.

– Taurus – Taurus is steadfast and domestic. Both signs are known for loyalty. Scorpio can be built up by Taurus’ stalwart nature.

– Virgo – Both signs are hardworking and goal-oriented. Both internalize their problems. This relationship is slow to start and initially guarded.

– Capricorn– This relationship is hesitant to start. Both individuals are careful, ambitious and industrious–Capricorn more so. Scorpio will be stabilized

Worst Compatibility (Air and Fire Signs)

– Gemini – Gemini is much too probing and outgoing, leaving Scorpio confused. Loyalty is not Gemini’s strong suit.

– Libra – Libra is far too objective and superficial to understand Scorpio’s emotional complexity. Libra will deflect Scorpio’s need to control.

– Aquarius – Aquarius is too emotionally distant. Scorpio will be thrown off by Aquarius’ extremist tendencies. This is a cold and lifeless match.

Very Poor (All Fire signs)

– Aries – A clash of basic natures. Aries is active and dominant. Aries needs to lead, Scorpio is far too independent. Leader vs. loner.

– Leo – Elemental clash. Both signs are intense and suffer from jealousy issues. This match signals a power struggle.

– Sagittarius– Elemental Clash. Sagittarius is too adventurous while Scorpio is quiet and guarded. Sagittarius would be stifled. Scorpio would shut down.

I have to say, Roberts hits the head on the nail for me personally: I’m a Scorpio and my best relationship was with a Capricorn, my worse with a Gemini. Maybe you all find your own truths in this somewhere, or maybe not, either way share with me your stories! Hold tight for Sagittarius season.
