Silento Busted For Reckless Driving, Cops Clocked Him At 143 MPH

Rapper Silento was busted by cops in Dekalb County, Georgia on Friday after Cops caught him doing 143 miles per hour in his 2020 BMW X3 SUV on I-85.

According to TMZ, officers claimed they observed the car slowing down, changing lanes, and swerving before they pulled it over. Cops described when they approached the SUV, Silento rolled down the window, handed the cop his driver’s license, and simply said, “We ain’t do nothing wrong.”

The “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)” rapper was later explained to cops that he was driving so fast because he’s famous and said “people be following me everywhere I go.”

Cops said Silento told them he just left a club where he was promoting his new track, “DXB Money” and claimed he justified his right to drive at those outrageous speeds because “If there is like 10 cars following me, I can do 143 because I am not a regular person.”

Cops disagreed and arrested Silento for 1 count of exceeding the speed limit, 1 count of failure to maintain lane, 1 count of reckless driving, and 1 count of improper stopping. He was immediately taken to DeKalb County Jail.

Silento was booked and released on Friday.
