Simone Biles, fresh off her triumphant return from the Paris Summer Olympics, is now back home and showing love to her husband, Jonathan Owens. The Olympic legend was spotted at Soldier Field in Chicago on Saturday, August 17, as she cheered on Owens and the Chicago Bears during their preseason matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The 27-year-old gymnast, who brought home four medals from Paris, proudly supported her husband from a skybox at the stadium. Biles took to Instagram to share her game day look, sporting a black and white oversized jacket featuring a football player in a No. 34 jersey—an homage to the legendary Bears player Walter Payton. She paired the jacket with a black bodysuit, a Prada bucket hat, and matching black and white Nike sneakers. Biles captioned the post with a spirited “Bear Down.”
Despite nursing a calf injury from the Olympics, Biles seemed to be in high spirits, even playfully showing off her black ankle brace in a Boomerang video. She and a friend enjoyed the game from their private box, clinking drinks and dancing as they watched the action unfold on the field.
Biles’ appearance at the Bears game comes just days after she reunited with Owens, 29, and shared the first photo of him since her return from Paris. The NFL player had flown to Paris to support his wife during the Olympics, watching her win gold in the all-around final. Although he had to return to Chicago for training camp before Biles’ later events, his pride in her achievements remains clear.
In a recent interview, Owens praised Biles for her resilience and determination during the Games. “My wife is a warrior,” he said, reflecting on how she powered through her injury to continue competing at the highest level. “Her ability to persevere and still dominate is just amazing to watch.”
As Biles and Owens continue to support each other through their respective careers, fans are loving the display of mutual admiration between this power couple.
