Charmayne “Maxee” Maxwell of the 90s R&B group Brownstone has passed away following an accident on Saturday.
Reports say Maxee and her husband, Danish producer Carsten “Soulshock” Schack, were attending their son’s soccer game Saturday in Los Angeles when Maxee fell. Sources say Maxee died instantly after the fall. Her brother Brandon confirmed on Twitter that this was NOT an act of suicide.
As part of the group Brownstone, Maxee released the 1994 hit “If You Love Me” off their album “From the Bottom Up”. Maxee is survived by her husband of over 20 years and their son, Nichoj.
