Former Disney star Skai Jackson is making headlines this week, but not for a reason anyone expected.
Last week, she was arrested for domestic battery after a heated altercation with her boyfriend at Universal CityWalk in Hollywood.
According to reports, the drama occurred when security spotted Skai pushing her boyfriend multiple times. Things escalated quickly, and the guards detained the couple until the police showed up to review the footage.
Despite what was shown in the footage, both Skai and her boyfriend denied that anything got physical.
Sources told TMZ that the two insisted they were happy, even claiming they’re engaged and expecting a baby together.
Jackson was arrested on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge, cited, and released a few hours later.
So far, it remains unclear whether the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office will decide to file charges.
