Skai Jackson’s baby daddy, Deondre Burgin, is facing serious legal trouble after being indicted in a home burglary that left a Colerain Township, Ohio, family missing more than $10,000 worth of valuables, including jewelry, cash, and firearms.
Colerain police responded to a break-in on June 4th on Weik Road. According to the township spokeswoman, “The homeowner reported that he left the residence to run errands for a short time. When he returned, he discovered his residence had been forcibly entered.”
Burgin, 21, was arrested July 17th for a separate robbery in West Price Hill that occurred June 21st. Days later, on July 20th, he was booked again, this time in connection with the June 4th burglary.
His arrest comes just months after Jackson filed a temporary restraining order against him in May, alleging he “physically attacked her on Mother’s Day.” The two share a child and a rocky history that has now spilled into criminal court.
Also charged is 29-year-old Danzail Farrier, who was arrested the same day as Burgin. Farrier had been out on parole since March for a weapons offense. Police say his involvement in the June burglary violated that parole, and he’ll face a separate charge for the violation.
Both men are set to appear in the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas on August 1st for arraignment. While Jackson has remained quiet on the situation, the legal drama surrounding Burgin continues to grow. Police say the investigation remains active.
