During a recent Instagram Live session, the “Bae” rapper took a moment to advocate for the return of “old school crack.” He expressed his frustrations with “new crackheads.”

“These drugs n***as be taking be making them depressed,” Skilla said in the now-viral clip. “They need to make crack great again.”

He went on the criticize the “new crackheads,” describing them as “depressed” and zombie-like while stating that “old school crackheads” were much more lively.

“Old crackheads was more upbeat, outside,” he added. “These new crackheads nowadays, they don’t even go outside. These n***as just play the game and act dead. Them old crackheads built houses, jumping fences, beating people up while they’re off the crack. These drugs that these n***as taking acting like they dead. Depressed. Zombies.”

To add to his statement, Skilla admitted that a few of his close friends are users of the drug, emphasizing that the role of “crackheads” shaped his childhood, as well as others in his generation.

“Some of the best people in my life are crackheads,” he declared. “My best friends are crackheads…Our whole generation was raised by crackheads.”

Nonetheless, despite his passion for “old school crackheads,” Skilla clarified that he is not encouraging anyone to use drugs and even discouraged kids from experimenting with crack, but feels as though the current drug users aren’t using them correctly.

“I’m not saying do drugs. Don’t do drugs. Kids, don’t do drugs. But y’all choosing the wrong drugs,” Skilla stated.
