ESPN announced on Tuesday that First Take co-host, Skip Bayless, will be moving on from the network at the end of the summer. Bayless, whose contract will be up in August, has spent the past 12 years with ESPN, and the last four of those years going toe-to-toe with Stephen A. Smith on First Take.
Throughout his time at ESPN, Bayless has been known to be very opinionated. He is not one to ever shy away from speaking his mind, and because of that, most viewers have had a love/hate relationship with him throughout the years. But one thing is for sure, his absence will definitely be felt.
Sources say that Bayless will be moving on to Fox Sports once he leaves ESPN, though nothing has been confirmed by him.
Skip Bayless’ final appearance on First Take will be the day after the NBA Finals conclude.
Who do you think should be the next person to host First Take with Stephen A. Smith?
