While Slim Thug was in San Antonio supporting the University of Houston Cougars during the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship, a group of bold thieves broke into his Houston penthouse and cleaned him out.
“Petty thieves hit a good lick, man,” he said on Instagram. “They got me for my jewelry. I was slipping.”

According to The Houston Chronicle, the break-in went down at the Catalyst condos on Texas Ave between 3:30 P.M. and 11 P.M. on April 7. Cops say the suspects snatched jewelry, cash, and other valuables. So far, no arrests.
Slim was shocked they got into his top-floor unit. “I had insurance but not enough for all my s###,” he admitted. “I had too much s###. To cover all my s### would have been $10,000 a month on insurance. So I didn’t have all my s###. But they ain’t get all my s### either though.”
He said he caught the crew—four “Black dudes”—on his own surveillance footage. Police are now digging into the building’s security cams too.
As for what’s next? “I was slipping,” he said again.
Slim says he’s done buying jewelry and plans to put the insurance money toward some new whips instead.
