Lil Yachty was recently arrested after police say he was driving over 150 mph on an Atlanta highway.
According to CNN, the incident took place on September 21, on Interstate 75. Yachty was driving his white 2020 Ferrari at the time and was seen weaving in and out of traffic before the cops stopped him.
Officials initiated a routine traffic stop, and the car was released to Yachty’s friend. Meanwhile, the rapper was taken into custody and charged with reckless driving.
Shortly after the incident, Yachty took to social media to provide an update on his freedom, simply writing, “Im not in jail.” In a video on TikTok, he addressed the incident, saying, “Yeah. It happened…..Slow down, kids.”
According to the publication, the incident was audio and video recorded, but the footage will not be released at this time.
