McDonald’s McFlurry is a fan fave, so why not add another?
Starting on April 12, McDonald’s newest flavor, Strawberry Shortcake McFlurry, will make its rounds to locations across the U.S.
Instagram account @snackolator posted a sneak peek of what the tasty treat would look like and what it is describing it as a “strawberry OREO McFlurry because it’s vanilla ice cream mixed with strawberries and OREO cookies,” however, there won’t be OREO pieces, instead shortbread.
Today.com reached out to McDonald’s USA to confirm the new flavor.
“McDonald’s new Strawberry Shortcake McFlurry features our signature creamy vanilla soft serve, strawberry-flavored clusters and crispy, buttery shortbread cookies,” a McDonald’s USA spokesperson tells TODAY.com in an email. “It will be available at participating U.S. restaurants nationwide starting April 12, for a limited time while supplies last.”
Original flavors of the McFlurry include OREO, Heath Bar, M&M’s, and Butterfingers.
