Snoop Dogg has released a public apology to Gayle King for his social media attacks towards after her Kobe Bryant interview.
In the apology released via Instagram, Snoop acknowledged that he was out of line for the way he addressed King.
“I should have handled it way different than that, I was raised way better than that, so I would like to apologize publicly for the language that I used and calling you out your name and just being disrespectful,” he said.
Snoop said he wanted to defend Kobe Bryant due to Bryant not being able to defend himself.
In the video, Snoop admitted his mother helped him realize his mistake, writing, “Had a talk with my momma thank u mamma,” in his caption, adding, “2 wrongs don’t make it right time to heal. @gayleking Peace n love Praying for u and your family as well as Vanessa and the kids.”
Snoop included in the video that he hopes they can sit down and talk things out privately.
