Snoop Dogg and Kevin Hart will commentate Olympics highlights on a new show exclusively for the Peacock streaming platform.
On Wednesday, Deadline reported that the legendary west coast rapper and comedian would be teaming up for “Olympic Highlights with Kevin Hart and Snoop Dogg.” In the series, the two will recap the most stunning wins and losses at the games.
Hart’s Laugh Out Loud Studios will produce the show, while Paul Pawlowski will serve as the showrunner and executive producer. Candice Wilson Cherry, Hart, and Jeff Clanagan will also executive produce.
Although few specifics about the show have been disclosed, fans are excited to learn that Snoop is continuing his career as a sports commentator after making his debut during last year’s boxing match between Nate Robinson and Jake Paul. The Olympics will begin in Tokyo on July 23rd, so one can only assume that the show will air on or around that day.
Hart first hinted that he and Snoop were collaborating on a project while speaking at NBCUniversal’s upfront presentation in May. The “Laugh At My Pain” star stated at the time that the two were “working on some more hilarious content that will be coming to you soon.”
