Legendary filmmaker John Singleton left behind a plethora of timeless movies and tv shows after his recent passing. One of which has decided to pay tribute to Singleton in a major way with its season 3 finale.
‘Snowfall’ production has completed an entire rewrite of the third season’s finale in order to incorporate a young John character into the story based on his life before “Boyz N The Hood” fame. According to TMZ, sources close to the show said everyone involved wanted to honor him in that manner and worked tirelessly to make it happen.
Singleton’s 1-year-old son, Seven, will also be a part of the tribute episode, making a cameo on the show; something sources said would have made his father very happy. John reportedly always had his son on set and expressed wanting to eventually have Seven appear on the show, so producers granted his wish.
Season 3 of ‘Snowfall’ premieres July 10th and the finale featuring young John’s character and his son airs September 11th.
