Chaos erupted at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Sunday during the 2024 Copa América final between Argentina and Colombia as ticketless fans breached security and stormed the venue.
Frustrated fans took to social media to share videos and photos of the damage.
The Miami-Dade Police Department reported arresting multiple individuals for their unruly behavior.
The Miami-Dade Police Department issued a statement saying, “We have had several incidents prior to the gates opening at Hard Rock Stadium for the Copa America final game. These incidents have been a result of the unruly behavior of fans trying to access the stadium.”
They added, “We are asking everyone to be patient, and abide by the rules set by our officers and Hard Rock Stadium personnel.”
