You might’ve heard of the ‘Tinder Swindler,’ but have you heard the story of the ‘Twitter Swindler’? Social media users have been going crazy trying to wrap their heads around such an outlandish story.
Earlier this week, Twitter user Sativa Monet decided to share her experience with a guy currently known as the ‘Twitter Swindler.’ Monet says she met a guy named Odell Walker Jr. on the app, and the two connected instantly. The vibes between the two were so strong that within a month, Monet agreed to fly out to meet him.

Everything seemed to be going great, but according to Monet, Odell would always cancel their plans last minute. Something always came up, from a court hearing to being hospitalized. Odell had an excuse for everything. Monet quickly realized Odell wasn’t being honest and blocked him on her Twitter account. She later shared her story with him on the app.
Once Monet’s story went viral, more women came forward to speak on their experiences with Odell. One woman claims that Odell stood her up while she was in Detroit.

Another woman even said Odell scammed her out of her money after purchasing body butter from his website. She claims she made an order with Odell’s company back in March 2021 and never received her package, despite contacting him several times.

Odell has not been active on his Twitter account since the fiasco happened. However, he did later apologize to all the women he has “swindled.”
