Social Media Users Call Out Nicki Minaj for Being Late During The “Gag City Reloaded” Tour [Video]

Nicki Minaj is no stranger to facing backlash, but her latest Gag City Reloaded Tour show has fans requesting refunds for their tickets.

When the Gag City Reloaded Tour was officially announced, fans quickly expressed excitement about seeing the “Queen of Rap” grace the stage with high-energy performances.  However, claims poured in that Nicki had arrived late to some of the shows, forcing fans to wait hours before she actually took the stage.  Fans who paid big bucks for their tickets or traveled to see the show felt like the long wait was unbearable and voiced their opinions online.  Additionally, some attendees reported little to no entertainment to keep the crowd engaged before Nicki’s performance.

One concertgoer shared a video from the Buffalo show, in which the crowd appeared to be sitting in seats and waiting for the show to begin.  According to the woman, it was 11:33 p.m., and Nicki still wasn’t on stage.  She also shared that the attendees were “bored” and called out the rapper for having a DJ who wasn’t “hyping up the crowd.”

Another attendee also shared her experience on TikTok and revealed that the show was expected to start at 9 p.m., but Nicki allegedly didn’t perform until after 11:30 p.m.  According to the fan, despite Nicki’s DJ playing half of her “Pink Friday” album on his setlist, she was grateful that Tyga came out to entertain them before Nicki’s set.  As a result, the woman in the video stated that the concert was “a waste of money.”

Nonetheless, attendees for other city stops defended Nicki and revealed that she was on time for their shows.  One commenter stated, “She wasn’t late for Philly, she came out at 10:20” while another wrote, “Why y’all keep saying she late when she got three performers ahead of her…plus the dj set…somebody explain plz.”
