Solange Gets Engaged To Boyfriend Alan Ferguson

Solange Knowles turned 28 today but that’s not all there was to celebrate. Beyonce’s baby sis is also getting MARRIED! After 5 years of dating Solange and 51 year old Alan Ferguson have gotten engaged.

In an interview with NecoleBitchie.com last year Solange said that she was actually the one to approach Alan. “Certainly, in the beginning I was the one who approached him so I have always sort of historically been one of those girls that goes after something that I’m into,” she said, “I’m not very old school and like, I’m gonna wait on you. Wait for you to approach me type of situation. I have a lot of guy-like quintessential relationship qualities that I have had to work on.” See ladies, sometimes you DO have to approach him. And it seems to have worked out well for Solange because she has been spotted with Alan taking exotic trips all over the world. 

Although this will be the second marriage for Solo who divorced Daniel Smith, “Julez” dad in 2007, I can already tell that this man is truly the love of her life. Go Solange!
