Looks like Andre 3000 has started a trend.
Solange recently revealed that she’s toyed with the idea of a tuba album.
Only time will tell if the “Don’t Touch My Hair” is forreal or not, but it does seem possible.
For the March issue of Harper’s Bazaar, Solange, 37, discussed the possibility of a follow-up to her 2019 album “When I Get Home.”
“I’ve started writing music for the tuba, and I am trying to talk myself into releasing it, but I can only imagine the eye rolls from people (waiting on an album),” she said.
Knowles then explained her interest in the tuba, saying, “It sounds like what the gut feels like to me. There’s a way that it takes up space that you can’t deny, and it also just feels very Black to me.”
Since Solange’s last full-length release, she has toured the world, held a special performance at the 58th International Art Exhibition of La Biennale de Venezia, and written the score for a 2022 New York City ballet production.
Come through with the instruments, Solange. Are y’all here for it?
