Smash or Pass? Sonic Adds Crunchy Fried Cookie Dough Bites to Fall Menu

Cookies make the best on-the-go treat, and Sonic is putting a different spin on it. The drive-in restaurant welcomes a new snackable treat for the fall season.

Introducing bite-sized fried cookie dough bites, the limited-edition treat will be available starting September 26. However, Sonic app holders can preview the treats as early as September 19.

According to Sonic, the fried cookie dough bites are “edible chocolate chip cookie dough fried to a golden brown, leaving the snack warm and crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside.”

Sonic isn’t stopping at the dough bites but making it a well-rounded dessert by adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

In addition to the fried cookie dough bites, Sonic offers a savory menu item for those who don’t have a sweet tooth.

The broccoli cheddar tots are back for the season!

“These cheesy bites were first introduced in Fall 2021 and were inspired by homemade broccoli cheddar casserole. They offer a feel-good take on traditional tots while providing a full serving of vegetables in a size large.”

Customers can also add toppings to the tots like bacon, shredded cheese, jalapeños, and chili.
