Soulja Boy has responded to Ye’s shady comment about the verse he laid down for West’s “Donda” album that ended up on the cutting room floor.
Soulja had previously expressed his frustration with being left off the album when it was released a few months ago but let bygones be bygones.
The “Crank That” rapper was stunned by Ye’s words on the latest episode of “Drink Champs” because Kanye had praised his verse for the track “Remote Control” in person, so hearing the opposite really surprised him.
In a Livestream, Soulja had choice words for Ye, saying, “Don’t get on no motherf**kin’ platform and say different from what the f**k you told me to my face. Tell me to my face that shit was trash…Who cut your hair? Yo, shit f**ked up.”
Then he showed his followers an alleged text chain between him and Kanye, where he claims that Ye called his verse “hard.”
Soulja also didn’t seem too impressed with Ye’s “compliment,” calling him one of the “top five most influential” artists.
In response, Soulja said, “You not finna baby me, n***a, with some, ‘Soulja Boy is the future.’ Shut the f**k up.”
