Soulja Boy wants people to know one thing for certain: his jewelry isn’t fake.
On Wednesday, an Instagrammer by the name of @worldtourwoo posted a video of the rapper buying jewelry from a kiosk inside an Atlanta mall. He then called Soulja Boy out, saying his new diamonds weren’t real.
“Not big Soulja. Ain’t no way!” he says in the video. “Soulja, you dead wrong.” He then used Big Draco’s signature “first rapper” jokes against him, “First Rapper To Get Caught Buyin Jewelry In The Middle Of The Mall.”
To support his accusations that Soulja Boy purchased fake gems, he went to the employee at the kiosk he saw the rapper at and filmed the conversation with the employee who confirmed that Soulja Boy did indeed buy some inauthentic jewelry.
“SOULJA BOY REPORTED IT AND HAD IT DELETED CAUSE HE KNOW THE TRUTH @theshaderoom,” read the accompanying caption.
When Soulja Boy got wind of the video, he went on Instagram Live to deny the story.
“Broke a** n***a,” he responded. “Walk in that same jewelry store that you just left in the mall and try to buy the Cartier, ni***. That muthaf**** $35,000. The Rollie $30,000.”
“Everything over there real,” he went on. “They sell real ice in the mall, clout chasin’ a** pu*** a**. Stop fuckin’ playin’ with me ni***. Fu** you talkin’ bout.”
Eventually, @worldtourwoo joined Soulja Boy’s Live, and the two had a heated exchange over the issue, with Soulja Boy admitting that he was at the mall but denying the jewelry he bought was fake.
@worldtourwoo said that Soulja Boy threatened him in a follow-up video, saying he would send goons his way.
“Soulja talkin’ bout some ni***s are gonna come to Compton,” @worldtourwoo said. “Who the fu**? Who the fu** this ni*** think he is?”
But later on, he said that it was Soulja Boy’s artist who purchased the jewelry.
What y’all think?
