The sound engineer who accused Travis Scott of punching him in the head at an NYC nightclub has spoken out from his hospital bed.
The man, only identified as Mark, told Fox 5 in an exclusive interview that Travis was playing the music while DJing so loud that it became distorted. He claimed he tried to tell the “Sicko Mode” rapper to lower the volume so it would sound better, but he instead just gave him the middle finger and then attacked him.
“So I lowered the monitor a little bit so I could talk to him, and that’s when he ran around the speaker and attacked me,” Mark said.
Speaking from a hospital bed, the man now says he’s unable to turn his head and has tingling in his arms as a result of the attack.
However, Scott’s rep is calling B.S.– telling Complex the allegations are “a complete and total joke”
“As anyone with common sense can see, the video that shows Travis DJ’ing in Nebula proves that the incident was nothing. All it shows that Travis’s performance was disrupted by someone aggressively in his personal space. It’s a complete and utter joke.”

As previously reported by TMZ, Travis Scott was named as a suspect in an investigation into an alleged assault at Club Nebula in NYC. He was also accused of causing $12,000 in damage to a speaker and video screen.
An attorney for the artist called the allegations “clickbait and misinformation” after the news broke Wednesday. However, the are working with law enforcement to clear Scott’s name.
“While this is clearly a misunderstanding being blown out of proportion by clickbait and misinformation, we are actively working with the venue and law enforcement to resolve and set the record straight,” Scott’s lawyer, Mitchell Schuster, said on Wednesday. “We are confident our client will be cleared of any wrongdoing.”
