Reports say the rumors about Kanye West and makeup artist Jeffree Star allegedly being entangled are not true.
Early on Tuesday, Kanye and Star began trending on Twitter following the news that West and his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, were getting a divorce. If you clicked on their names, tons of posts claimed that Jeffree and Ye have allegedly had a romantic relationship going on during the rapper’s marriage to the socialite.
However, a source close to Kanye and Kim is completely denying those claims, according to Yahoo! Entertainment. “There is absolutely no truth to Jeffree and Kanye rumors,” said the source. It looks like the source might need to check in with the couple because Jeffree seems to be cosigning the rumors in his latest posts online.
“I’m ready for Sunday Service,” Jeffree tweeted to his fans, referring to the rapper’s gospel service performances. On top of that, Jeffree later shared a video of himself supposedly in Wyoming, where Kanye West currently is living. “I am here in the beautiful state of Wyoming,” he said in the video. “Hi snow in the background, and today I woke up and um, it’s been a very interesting day.”
But the couple maintains that infidelity was not the reason for the proposed divorce, saying the Kimye is dealing with “regular relationship issues” and that “there is no one else involved.” The source added the two have come to a point where they hardly ever see one another. “It’s gotten to the point where they haven’t spent time together as a married couple in months,” said the source. They’ve seen each other for the sake of the kids but have been living separately. Kim knows the marriage is over. She’s known for a while.”
While their divorce was reportedly “imminent,” the source said the two are “trying to work through things” in marriage counseling. “Divorce has been discussed, but Kim wants more than anything for their relationship to work.”
