Spice’s booking agent is addressing rumors that the Dancehall queen was in a coma after cosmetic surgery.
“She didn’t suffer a heart attack, and she is not in a coma,” said Ray Alexander on Wednesday.
Alexander denied the rumors, which began circulating following reports that the singer had undergone a cosmetic procedure in the Dominican Republic and had suffered complications. Former dancehall queen turned minister Lady Saw, aka Minister Marion Hall, even urged fans to pray for the reigning queen.
Despite Alexander insisting the comments are mere rumors, this would not have been the first time Spice has undergone cosmetic surgery. She previously had cosmetic surgery in 2020 and later shared photos of her new “designer body” on Instagram.
The Jamaican Dancehall queen announced she would be stepping away from social media in a post to her Instagram account less than two weeks ago.
