Low-cost carrier, Spirit Airlines, is launching flights out of Miami International Airport.
Starting Wednesday, Spirit will begin flying to nine destinations from MIA.
In November and January, the airline plans to add 22 new destinations, with 20 domestic and 11 overseas flights.
Spirit officials announced that they have employed around 200 additional personnel in preparation for the launch.
