Ballerific Travel: Once In A Lifetime Trips Worth the Splurge

Everyone deserves a trip they will remember for the rest of their life. We’re talking about a trip where you go all out, whether that be a three-week stay or top-of-the-line luxurious accommodation, because everyone deserves to experience it.

Some experts say spending your money on experiences rather than material things can make you happier, like traveling!

There are a lot of cool trip ideas all around the globe. With the perfect planning and saving of money, they can be achieved. Here are a few bucket list-worthy trips worth talking about.

Go on a safari in Africa

Travel to Tanzania to watch the Great Migration Safari with your own eyes. Every year nearly 1.5 million wildebeest, 400,000 zebra, 300,000 Grant’s and Thompson’s gazelle migrate from Tanzania’s Serengeti Plains to Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve, making it a breathtaking and mind-boggling experience to witness in person. But if that doesn’t spark your interest, visit the iconic Giraffe Manor in Nairobi, Kenya. The accommodation has been called one of the most Instagrammed properties in the world, with many photos showing giraffes interacting with guests.

Tour Europe

If you have some time, we suggest, at minimum, a two-week stay in Europe, where you can visit multiple destinations. Considering Europe has some of the best and most affordable means of transportation, especially its Eurail systems, it’s achievable. There are a lot of landmarks and sightseeing across the continent, so it’s wise to visit as much of it as you can in one trip. You can try authentic Italian food in Italy or visit the Mona Lisa in Paris. A trip to Europe is life-changing.

Take a ride on Russia’s Trans-Siberian Railway

The Trans-Siberian railway is one of the most storied train lines in history. Golden Eagle’s luxury journey traverses the iconic Russian tracks in glamour. Accommodations onboard the train rival a hotel, with heated floors in the bathroom, laundry service, and a plush bar car, complete with a resident pianist on the baby grand. Prices for the 15-day journey start at $30,995 for the Imperial Suite.

Embark on a 155-day world cruise

Azamara is taking off in 2025 from San Diego. Over 155 days, passengers on board will visit 37 countries before ending in the United Kingdom. The ship will make stops in Honolulu, Sydney, Bangkok, Bali, and more. The cruise also includes 13 different complimentary land events, like visiting the world’s largest Buddhist temple in Semarang, Indonesia, and experiencing a kickoff gala in San Diego.

Island Hop in Hawaii

And, of course, the U.S. made the list. Island hopping in Hawaii is a common thing to do among visitors. You can swim with dolphins on the Big Island or eat at delicious Japanese restaurants in Honolulu. Hawaii has picture-perfect scenery, which makes it ideal for a helicopter ride.

Whatever you decide, splurge on yourself at least once in your lifetime.
