Earlier this week we posted a video of Sportscenter anchor Robert Flores taking jabs at Iggy Azalea on-air for ruining hip hop. “We learned that according to the Lakers’ Nick Young, a dolphin recently tried to kill him,” said Flores during his segment, “So Nick, while dolphins are trying to kill you, your girlfriend is trying to kill hip hop. Let’s just call it even, okay?”
Well, Nick didn’t take kindly to the jokes at all. He quickly came to Iggy’s defense tweeting, “Robert Flores, Your job is to talk about sports. Not what me and my chick got going on. That don’t sit right with me so we got a problem.” He continued, “Since these sports channels want to act like they BET, we shall see. It’s cool to talk about me all day, I’m fine with that, I can take a joke but I didn’t see the point of that.
Well Robert Flores has responded, and apparently — he don’t get tired. “If you look at the numbers, there is a 70 percent chance that if he takes a shot at me he’s gonna miss,” Flores says ESPN Radio, ” I’m just looking at the numbers, so I’m good. It’s all good.”
Well, at least he kept the topic on sports this time. Clearly he’s not worried about Swaggy P and his empty threats.
