Spotify, which recently raised its U.S. subscription prices, plans to do the same in several other countries by the end of this month and again in the U.S. later this year.

According to reports, its subscription prices will increase by about $1 to $2 per month in the UK, Australia, and Pakistan by the end of April.

With the new pricing, individual plans will increase by around $1 per month, while family and duo plans for couples will increase by $2.

Spotify’s monthly premium plans range from $10.99 for an individual to $14.99 for a duo and $16.99 for a family in the U.S., as stated on the company’s website.

The report also mentions that the company will introduce new pricing levels, including one for a “supremium” plan that gives access to high-quality audio at a higher cost.

Additionally, higher prices will cover the cost of audiobooks added last year, allowing paid plan customers to listen to up to 15 hours per month.

Spotify will also introduce a new tier with music and podcasts, but not audiobooks.

The report states, “The success of [last year’s] price increase has given management confidence to seek even more.”
