The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) just dropped $2 million on Israeli spyware called Graphite.
This tool cracks encrypted apps like Signal and Telegram, which people use to keep their chats private.
However, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) got their hands on this tool, and it’s all part of Trump’s plan for mass deportations and border crackdowns.
This isn’t just a U.S. problem. Other countries have been caught using spyware to target politicians, journalists, and regular people.
Greece hacked opposition leaders’ phones. Poland used spyware on political enemies. Spain spied on activists and separatists. These governments always claim it’s for “security,” but it’s really about power.
In the U.S., the FBI has secretly bought spyware in the past, and even though Biden banned some of it, the rules have loopholes.
Thanks to Trump, don’t expect any limits.
In fact, this tech could spread to state governments. Think tracking people getting abortions, keeping tabs on activists, or spying on journalists.
This spyware isn’t just for criminals or immigrants—it can target anyone. Once it’s here, there’s no going back.
