After previously announcing a new multi-year partnership deal between Netflix and Nickelodeon, creating brand new animations that represent old and new characters, sources are now revealing that fans of ‘Spongebob’ can look forward to a spin-off focused on Squidward.
Fans know Squidward as Spongebob’s moody neighbor and co-worker down at the Krusty Krab. Squidward is also known for his musical capability to play the clarinet.
The title of the show has yet to be announced, and It is currently unclear if any other characters from ‘Spongebob’ will appear on the show.
This spinoff is just one project of many to come under Netflix and Nickelodeon’s $200 million deal.
