Former NFL player Stanley Wilson Jr. was arrested again for breaking into a home.
According to LAPD, the ex-cornerback broke into a $30 million Hollywood Hills home on two different occasions. On August 24th, Wilson was accused of moving and damaging items in the home.
Most recently, Wilson broke into the home again and allegedly took a bath in the outside fountain with soap he found inside the home causing $5,000 worth of damages.
LAPD arrested Wilson both times and charged him with two felony counts of vandalism and one count of second-degree burglary. The authorities claim that there are no ties between Wilson, the property, or the homeowners.
This isn’t the first time Wilson had an issue with breaking into homes. In 2016, Wilson was shot in the stomach during an attempted break-in at a home in Southwest Portland while naked.
He was arrested again in Portland in January 2017 for allegedly walking around a neighborhood naked.
A month later, Wilson was sentenced to 10 days in jail for the 2016 incident. In addition to the jail sentence, Wilson was ordered to three years probation and mandatory drug treatment. He also had to pay restitution for damages to the home and write an apology letter.
Five days after his sentencing, Wilson was arrested again in February 2017 for breaking into another home while naked.
The ex-football player was a third-round draft pick by the Lions in 2005. Wilson played two seasons with Detroit before tearing his Achilles in an exhibition game against the Giants in 2008. The injury ended his career, but before he left the game, Wilson racked up 89 total tackles, eight pass deflections, and one forced fumble.
