Star Jones is making her return to daytime television in her new role as host and judge on Divorce Court.
The 59-year-old, who was a host on The View from 1997 to 2006, will replace Judge Faith Jenkins, who is moving on to Oxygen to executive produce her new series, “Killer Relationship With Faith Jenkins.”
Jones is no stranger to the courtroom. As an attorney and former New York City homicide prosecutor, she is well equipped to preside over the divorce proceeding cases and domestic disputes that are brought to the show.
Jones announced her new position on Twitter Monday, writing that she is “incredibly honored” to be joining the show in September of this year.
I’m incredibly honored!👩🏽⚖️⚖️

Well deserved, Star.
