NBA’s Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry and Canadian actor, comedian & producer #WillArnett are teaming up to bring a new comedy series to Fox.
The series titled “The Second Half” will delve into the life of an ex NBA player who attempts to live a regular life by purchasing a carwash and trying to fix his relationships with the people closest to him, including family and his longtime best friend. The show takes a humorous approach to realizing that in the game of life, he’s going to need to put in more work.
Curry and Arnett are on board as non-writing executive producers, while Sean Clemens will write the script as well as executive produce the series.
This isn’t the first television production Curry has been apart of as he is also an executive producer on ABC’s “Holey Moley,” and is joining forces with #JohnLegend on a brand new film and basketball drama “Signing Day,” which is currently in development.
Arnett is no stranger to Fox, as he is a host for the networks competition show “Lego Masters.”
No word has been given on when the show will premiere but the network “has handed out a script order (with a penalty attatched),” for the multicamera comedy, Hollywood Reporter exclusively announced.
