Stephon Marbury may have stopped playing for the NBA years ago, but he definitely wasn’t finished building his legacy. After rounding out his NBA career in 2009, Marbury joined the Chinese Basketball Association. Now with many accolades under his belt, Marbury has added his own museum to the list.
The #HouseOfMarburyMuseum held its grand opening on December 21st in Beijing. The museum, set to be open to the public next week, features a wax statue of the reigning CBA Finals MVP. Exhibits also include jerseys, wall murals, trophies, articles, and other Marbury paraphernalia.
Marbury took to Twitter to announce the big news. “Jesus did it, period. #Godisgreat,” he tweeted.
