Former baller Steve Francis has had his share of run-ins with the police. However, it seems the fast life may be slowing down for ex-NBA star, since he recently turned himself in on a warrant from an incident that occurred earlier this year.

Francis was wanted by the cops after he allegedly burglarized a stranger’s car and stole over $7k in goods and cash last June. According to TMZ, it all started when officials found out Francis was arrested in Houston for driving while intoxicated a few weeks ago. Once they got wind of Francis’ most recent run in, they reportedly issued a warrant for his arrest for the burglary incident.

Steve Francis turned himself in on Monday on a burglary of an unaccompanied conveyance charge, reports state. The charge, which is a 3rd degree felony, could land Francis in prison for up to 5 years.

According to TMZ, Francis’ bond is set at $1,500.
