Steve Harvey has long approved of Michael B. Jordan dating his daughter Lori Harvey. However, the “Family Feud” star is not so sure they are ready to tie the knot.
On Friday, the comedian sat down for an interview with “Today with Hoda & Jenna.” During a game of “Sip or Spill,” where Harvey had to answer the host’s questions or take a sip of his drink, he jokingly agonized over whether or not he approved of them walking down the aisle.
“Man, this is a hard one. I’ve given away two daughters. I’ve got four. That’s a really hard one,” he stated before saying “yeah, yeah” but then quickly switching his answer to “no, no, no, man,” He then takes a large sip of his drink as the host laughs.
Prior to the game, Steve Harvey praised the couple, calling the actor “a good guy,” but admitted he wasn’t sure if Jordan and Lori would make it down the aisle.
“He’s a really good guy. He treats her well,” Harvey said. “I wish them well, but you know, it’s young. It’s hard to make it, and they’re both in the public eye. It’s very, very hard, so we’re pulling for them, but you know, time will tell.”
Lori and Jordan have been together for a little over a year and appear to be head-over-heels in love with one another despite initial rumors that their union was a publicity stint early in their relationship.
