After a year filled with controversy and backlash, Steve Harvey seems to be ending the year in a legal battle. According to TMZ, the TV host has been hit with a lawsuit over bad charity business.

In court docs obtained by TMZ, Vincent Dimmock says he had a deal with Harvey to raise $20 million for the Steve and Marjorie Foundation and was promised 12.5% of the money he brought in. However, after meeting his goal in pledges with the help of big-name celebrities, execs, and political figures, including former President Barack Obama, and handing over the first million, Harvey reportedly refused to pay the man. In fact, Dimmock says Harvey never planned to cough up the commission, despite their deal.

According to TMZ, Dimmock also says he introduced Harvey to an investor back in May, where the three discussed financial advice and other topics. During the meeting, Dimmock claims Harvey mocked women, blamed Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Petter for giving him bad financial advice. He even reportedly put the blame on former President Barack Obama for his meeting with Donald Trump, which ultimately left his foundation in bad financial shape, so says Dimmock.

In turn, Harvey’s agent told the publication that Dimmock’s claims just “sound fake.”

“Steve is the most loyal guy in the world. I’ve never been stiffed on a commission from Steve Harvey in 21 years,” Todd Frank said.
