Mikaela Spielberg, 23, daughter of filmmaker Steven Spielberg, took to her private Instagram to announce that she’s one week sober.
The porn actress who was recently arrested for domestic violence with her 47-year-old fiancé Chuck Pankow shared the news with her 76,000 followers.
“Just celebrated a week sober,” she said.
“Navigating my own fears like a pro who somehow still knows nothing,” she continued. “Send me good loving energy y’all, and I can try to put that into the world.”
Not only did she celebrate her latest sobriety victory, but she also deleted all previous Instagram posts for a fresh start.
In the past, she has confirmed that she is trying hard to “improve” after a long battle with alcoholism.
“I’m really trying to improve my connection to my body and manifest personal safety and genuine caution as it relates to me,” she continued. She also included several hashtags in the post, such as #alcoholismawareness and #soberentertainer.
“I’ll still be a flirty odd duck at the end of the day,” she added.
After being arrested late last month, just weeks following her announcement to joining the prom industry, Spielberg told
The Sun, that the whole incident was just a miscommunication with officers, Page Six reports.
“I am personally very heartbroken, and I feel betrayed because I called for medical assistance.”
“No one is hurt,” Pankow told the same publication. “We are both fine. It was a huge misunderstanding. She’s home now.”
Spielberg who was adopted by Steven and his wife of 29 years, as a child, also revealed that doing pornography has helped overcome anxiety and bipolar disorder which she’s struggled with since being bullied as a child for being overweight and having famous parents, who are reportedly embarrassed by her decision to do porn, according to Page Six.
She also said that she wouldn’t do videos with anyone other than her fiancé.
“It would be a violation of my boundaries and my relationship with my significant other,” she told the publication.
