Earlier this week, #StevieJ and #FaithEvans got hitched in a low-budget hotel room ceremony, in front of a Las Vegas “Gypsy Mobile Minister,” who was hired just hours before the two exchanged, “I Dos.”
While the marriage caught the general public by surprise, family and friends of the Bad Boy couple say they were blindsided as well. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
According to TMZ, sources close to the Jordans say they weren’t given a heads-up about the legal union. In fact, they say they didn’t know marriage was even a possibility between the two.
Since Faith was scheduled to be in L.A. in preparation for a trip to London, and Stevie was in Atlanta for “Love & Hip-Hop,” the couple’s family were completely caught off guard by their trip to Sin City. But apparently, it was a spur of the moment situation for Faith as well, as sources close to her family say Stevie told her on Tuesday that they needed to get married that day.
But now that the deed is done, it has left several members of the newly-merged family harboring hard feelings, especially Faith’s son, CJ, who is also Stevie’s godson. But, as Faith sees it, it only takes “A Minute,” to fall in love.
