On Tuesday, disgraced comedian Bill Cosby was sentenced to three to 10 in prison for sexual assault.
Shortly after his formal arrest, many, including Cosby’s alleged victims and a few Celebrity peers, expressed their satisfaction with the prison term. While, others had to accept the fact that the once beloved comedian has been sent away.
In fact, according to TMZ, Stevie Wonder expressed his concern for the disgraced comedian.
“You know what, I just pray for everybody,” Stevie said. “Even more I pray for this nation, and it’s leader.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As he continued, Stevie opened up about Cosby’s sentence and acknowledged the comedian’s career accomplishments and contributions to society.
“I don’t like prisons,” he said. “I respect the work that he’s done in his career as an artist. I think he inspired a lot of people, and I jus pray that God will give him mercy.”
“Every woman should be protected,” he added, before he revealed he didn’t know if Cosby would be okay in the big house.
